Depois de meses brigando com a prefeitura pela posse do prédio, os moradores da ocupação “Cine Marrocos” perderam o processo judicial e foram orbigados a deixar o prédio. Esta é a terceira parte do projeto Marrocos, no qual registramos os vazios e os pertences deixados, onde mostramos o círculo vicioso no qual espaços abandonados são ocupados por quem não tem moradia, mas voltam a ficar vazios por interesses políticos ou econômicos. Seguindo a eterna lógica onde infinitos metros quadrados estão vazios enquanto milhaes de pessoas não tem um lugar onde morar.
After months dueling with the Municipality for the building possession, the “Cine-Marrocos”residents lost the judicial process and had to leave the “Cine-Marrocos”. As long as the occupiers were leaving their arranged rooms, we documented the empty spaces and the objects they had left behind. This is the 3rd and last part of “Marrocos”, where we tried to illustrate the vicious circle which abandoned spaces are occupied, but returns to be empty due to economic or political interests and affecting 6 million people with no place to live in.
