A Mostra SP de Fotografia, maior evento do segmento da cidade de São Paulo, acontece uma vez por ano, no bairro da Vila Madalena. Galerias, restaurantes, bares, lojas, espaços culturais, espaços abertos, muros autorizados são ocupados, durante um mês, com exposições gratuitas de fotógrafos brasileiros de todas as vertentes e épocas. Com uma agenda paralela de eventos que inclui ciclo de conversas, projeções noturnas, saídas fotográficas, lançamentos de livros e ações colaborativas, a Mostra SP de Fotografia busca oferecer reflexão e discussão em torno da Fotografia a um público sedento por informação.
Idealizado pelo jornalista e fotógrafo Fernando Costa Netto em 2009, a Mostra faz parte dos projetos desenvolvidos pela DOC Galeria.

7a. edição da Mostra de Fotografia
Between 2009 to 2014, the Mostra SP de Fotografia Festival had its opening day on every January 25, Sao Paulo anniversary day, and it always showed images about the city. From 2015, the event happens between the months of June and July and the images are about Brazil. This year we hold the seventh edition of the project. The exhibitions happen in photo galleries, restaurants, bars, shops, cultural venues, open spaces and street walls. The event is an occupation of the Vila Madalena neighborhood in Sao Paulo. Each year, during a month, we present works of photographers from all fields and periods. A schedule of events open to the public a space for discussion and reflexion about photography. We hold lectures, talks, night street projections, photographic outings, book releases and other collaborative actions with the participation of thousands of people.
